With 25 years experience in handling the legal affairs of numerous and varied clients, Tyn (pronounced Tain) thoroughly understands the help that is needed to sort out family, income and asset dilemmas during difficult times.
Prior to joining Paterson and Dowding Tyn ran his own law firm for 15 years and before that was the litigation partner of a medium sized commercial firm in New Zealand. Tyn deals with property matters of all kinds. Due to his broad general commercial experience, he has strong skills with in depth financial analysis and restructuring of complex assets (such as trusts, partnerships, partnerships and superannuation) and their tax consequences.
Tyn has also helped many clients with child related matters, and can assist with disputes over where the children should live and spend their time, relocation, abduction and recovery, child support, as well as spousal maintenance.
