Conveyancing
If you are buying or selling property, you will ultimately need assistance to help you through the paperwork or "conveyancing".
What is conveyancing?
Conveyancing refers to the procedure of preparing legal documents in order to deal with interests in real estate; liaising with banks and financial institutions; attending "settlement" to exchange documents and money and finally, lodging the relevant paperwork at Landgate.
For most people, acquiring real estate is the most significant investment they'll make during their lifetime. Some people try to do their own conveyancing. This can be a risky and ultimately expensive exercise if things go wrong. Some land transfers are quite complex and legally sensitive - such as those made pursuant to Family Court orders, or via succession.
We have an experienced settlement agent Pauline Guidet, who performs all our conveyancing. We also offer the service and convenience of doing your conveyancing after you have settled your family law dispute.
