The simple answer is yes you are entitled to represent yourself. However self-representation is often difficult and time consuming. There are fact sheets available from the Family Court to assist you if you decide to represent yourself. Representing yourself can be difficult and it is often hard to maintain objectivity in an emotional situation such as divorce or access to your children so the best outcome may not be achieved.
