Murdoch University – Paterson & Dowding Prize in Family Law
May 14, 2015
Paterson & Dowding has, for many years, sponsored the Murdoch University prize in Family Law.
Murdoch University student Sian Blakemore is the 2015 recipient of the Paterson and Dowding Prize for the highest academic achievement in Family Law.
Sian has thanked Paterson and Dowding for the award, saying, “Performing well in family law has highlighted my interest in this work and I hope that I may, in time, be able to have involvement with family law matters. Receiving this award at the end of my studying journey and the beginning of my career is timely, as a positive conclusion to my studies and positive start to my career.”
The partners of Paterson & Dowding wish Sian well for her future.

Donation to Autism Association of WA
Staff members have been enjoying morning teas and dressing in casual dress recently to raise money to sponsor Luke Hallam, who is competing in Paddle 4 Autism later in the year. Paddle 4 Autism is a stand up paddle board race in Hawaii which has been organised to raise money for the early intervention unit at the Autism Association of WA. We wish Luke the best of luck in the race and thank him for his contribution towards this cause.
