Craig has extensive experience dealing with people who face difficult circumstances as he previously practised in personal injury law representing clients with serious and debilitating injuries. Prior to joining Paterson and Dowding in 2006, he ran his own law firm and was previously a founding partner in another practice for over 10 years. He has experience with children's issues but his focus is now mainly on property matters.
Craig has practised in family law since the early 1990's and accepts instructions in property related matters ranging from the most complex asset structures to the more straightforward settlements.
Craig is an experienced negotiator. He enjoys working closely with his clients to identify tactics and strategies to bring about an early settlement. Although his approach is initially focussed on negotiation and settlement, Craig recognises that sometimes court proceedings are inevitable. Should a matter proceed to court, Craig is more than capable of ensuring that his clients receive robust representation to ensure the best possible outcome.
