Shivon joined Paterson & Dowding Family Lawyers and Mediators in July 2025. 

Shivon joined Paterson & Dowding as a Senior Associate in July 2025. Shivon brings over 20 years of experience working exclusively in family law in Mandurah. She has extensive experience in complex financial matters involving family trusts and family businesses. She also has extensive experience in complex parenting matters.  

Shivon is motivated to resolve matters by negotiation at an early stage where possible. However for some clients litigation in the Family Court is the only way forward. Shivon is a strong litigator and communicator. She is professional, efficient and down to earth. She adopts a common sense and practical approach to her matters. This has helped her to achieve excellent outcomes for her clients.

In her spare time Shivon enjoys travel, listening to music and spending time with loved ones especially family pets!
